When you become a client of eSterling we automatically generate your online stats, here you will find out how to use them and what they mean. Also in this section you will be able to read the Web Stats FAQ's.
Online Stats

In this section you will learn about our Online Stats, how to use them and what they mean.

The next few stats show the months results for an e-commerce quad bike web site that we designed developed and marketed. These stats are generated every month for the customer to view.

As you can see, here is a table with the search phrase used, the Search Engine, the the page on which it appeared, the position it appeared and the date. From reading this we can see that the key phrase 'Quad bikes for sale' works very well. Their site appears on the first page of every search engine and apart from DMOZ and Mamma they are number 1. After reviewing this particular table and it's results, we would then see how DMOZ and Momma catalogue web sites and then remarket the site for optimum placing in all Search Engines. Here are some more examples from the same company but using different search phrases.

As you will see we don't just concentrate on the UK Search Engines, we also use Search Engines from the America's, Europe, Asia, Australia and all over.

Weekly Tables
Next up are the Weekly Reports, these show how many page requests your site gets per week and built up, these generally show how much growth your site is achieving each week.
We can tell from this graph that as time goes by the site is generally getting more hits, we can tell this by the number of page requests at August 25 in comparison to February 17. This is generally how marketing goes, it does take quite a while for the optimization to kick in.
Hourly Summary
We even go into hourly summaries, this gives the client an idea on when, in the day, do people visit their site.
We can tell by this bar chart that this web site receives the bulk of it's hits between 11:00 and 21:00. It's apex is between 19:00 - 20:00.
Summary
These stats are very helpful for the client, they can see how their web site is doing and gives them an in site into what we are trying to achieve. The stats are part of our customer care policy, we feel that supplying stats it gives our customers a piece of mind, just knowing that their site is working makes the world of difference. Most eMarketing companies just rely on their own word to inform the customer of how the site is doing but with eSterling Ltd you can see for yourself.
